Our Midwives
The owner and head midwife (CP, LM) of Twin Falls Midwifery.
She started her midwifery journey back when she was a child; she would get all the little girls together in the neighborhood and play labor and delivery, delivering dozens of doll babies by the time she was six. As time went by, she was introduced to and fell in love with the profession of midwifery, often saying that “when she grew up”, she would be a midwife.
“Growing up” to Beth looked like being able to raise her beautiful family of six daughters to be strong women, an experience that only further edified the importance of having quality care in the pivotal times of a girls life.
Beth Started birth work teaching Lamaze in a hospital setting and attending as many births as she could as a doula and support person. She started formal training 18 years ago, when her youngest, (twins), were 12 years old and could handle their mom being committed to the crazy schedule that student midwives experience.
Beth completed her midwifery training and first years as a licensed midwife and eventually a student director at Maternidad La Luz Midwifery School and Birth Center in El Paso Texas. At that time MLL was the busiest freestanding birth center in the entire United States. In the 8 years she was associated with MLL she attended over 1000 births and 3000 prenatal appointments. The years there were intense and exhausting - but the valuable lessons Beth learned from Student midwives from all over the world and the gracious women who allowed her to welcome their children in to the world have caused a forever binding to that place and time in her life and career.
Since Moving to Idaho Beth has had the pleasure of working as a private practicing midwife in both birth center and home birth settings. Beth held a position since 2019 on the Idaho state Board of Midwifery and stood as the chairperson of the board for the last few years. When Midwifery moved to the board of Nursing, Beth resigned from her position and was very happy about the changes that she was involved in making within the midwifery profession. Beth states that she learned so much about how to really be aware of safe and outstanding care and how important it is to be involved in local and national legislation.
Beth recently was quoted as saying,
”There is nothing more rewarding than being involved in the profession that empowers women to trust the design of their bodies and recognize the individuality of each woman as they move through pregnancy and childbirth with confidence, trust and with care providers that truly know them!”
In the last two years God has blessed Beth by providing the the opportunity to own a group practice and birth center in the amazing town of Twin Falls, Idaho. The Midwives and my support staff that I work with and the families in the community that have trusted us with their care have made my work here such an amazing experience.
“This truly has been my calling from my Lord and Savior from the time I was a small girl.”

Meet Delaney
Midwife
Delaney is Twin Falls Midwifery’s newest addition! After more than three years of midwifery schooling she is now licensed and works as a full staff midwife with her former teachers, Beth and Cami! Delaney started her midwifery journey while getting her masters in anthropology with her thesis on birth experience. After all the research and writing she did, it was clear that midwives can be the answer to empowered birth for so many women, and rather than write about it, she wanted to actually do it. She moved to Twin to be closer to family while finishing her school, but found a community of her own keeping her in the magic valley. Delaney is passionate about women’s empowerment though birth and helping mothers can make their own informed choice is a huge part of that. Now that she has finished her midwifery certification she plans to go on to study herbalism for use both in and out of pregnancy as part of her constant search for learning. When she isn’t in the clinic or attending birth Delaney enjoys outdoor activities like camping and skiing as well as indoor activities like reading and journaling.
Meet Cami
Midwife
Idaho holds a special place in Cami’s heart— she grew up in the Boise area and trained as a midwife in northern Idaho. Her certification from Mercy in Action, a wonderful midwifery school in Boise, reflects greatly her passion for providing top-notch care to the community she serves. With over five years of experience, she has had the privilege of supporting many Idaho mothers through their childbirth journeys., and feels it is a great honor to be part of such an important moment in their lives.
When not delivering babies or caring for moms-to-be, you can find Cami deeply involved in my church community here in Twin Falls. She has also been fortunate enough to dedicate time to ministry work worldwide, most recently volunteering at a birth center in Uganda. In her downtime, she loves getting her hands dirty with pottery and nurturing her garden, as well as enjoying preserving goodies through canning and knitting cozy creations.
Meet Emma
Midwife Student
Emma has been a student with Twin Falls Midwifery since May of 2023. She started her midwifery pursuit in 2018 after serving on an outreach project in South Africa where she first felt called to become a midwife. Emma studied Maternal and International Health with Mercy In Action College of Midwifery for two years, graduating from their diploma program and is now pursuing a bachelor degree in Midwifery from them, aiming to graduate in 2025. Emma has lived in the Magic Valley for 10 years and has a passion for teaching music privately to students of all ages. When she is not studying, teaching music, or assiting with birth she enjoys rock climbing and skiing. Emma served an internship at Maternidad La Luz birth center, near the Texas-Mexico border, as a midwifery student in the summer of 2024 and dreams of serving as a midwife internationally someday.
“I am so grateful to serve the women and families of the Magic Valley, and to work under talented midwives as I pursue my education.”
Our Support Staff
Meet Kayla
Receptionist
Kayla started working with Beth and Cami in 2021 as a front desk Receptionist, and after a few months, she observed her first unmedicated out of hospital birth as a birth assistant. Immediately, she fell deeper in love with the idea of serving women and their families as they welcome new life into the world. In June of 2024, she earned her certification as a lactation counselor to better serve the clients of Twin Falls Midwifery when it comes to breastfeeding. Kayla’s plan is to continue her education in health science, with the end goal of becoming a midwife someday. When she is not behind the desk filing paperwork, scheduling appointments, typing emails, or answering phone calls, you will often find her enjoying time her friends & family. With the help of Beth, Cami, and Delaney, Kayla and her husband have welcomed two beautiful girls into the world.
